Vanessa Hudgens: Independent Spirit Awards Sexy

Spending the day at a red carpet celebration, Vanessa Hudgens looked darling as she arrived at the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 26).

The "High School Musical" hottie took to the Santa Monica beachfront venue in preparation of the annual cinema showcase - as she headed directly to the LG Cinema 3D HDTV lounge to hang out with fellow actress Malin Akerman.

Miss Hudgens made the appearance as she's throwing herself back in the spotlight as she readies for next month's release of her new movie "Beastly".

As for the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards, the show will air at 10:00 ET on IFC with Joel McHale handling the hosting duties.

Vanessa Hudgens was pretty in purple as she arrived for the premiere of her new movie ‘Beastly’. Beastly is a modern day spin on the classic ‘Beauty and the Beast’ tale and also stars ‘I Am Number Four’ star Alex Pettyfer, Neil Patrick Harris and Mary Kate Olsen.

Vanessa sure seems to be in the limelight a lot lately. First there was the breakup/maybe reconciliation with Zac Efron, then she was named the new face of Candies and then we saw her all over fashion week! Someone’s star seems to be on the rise!

Beastly certainly looks interesting! I think it will do really well with the younger audience. Will you go see it?

The “High School Musical” sweetheart donned an LBD accessorized with a plethora of crosses on it as she took in the latest looks from the front row alongside the hip-hop star, as well as singer Keri Hilson.

Meanwhile, the “Runaway” rapper and the “Make Love” singer kept it casual in leather jackets accessorized with their own personal style.

Making for the third and fourth stops during quite the full day of fashion, Vanessa Hudgens was back out at The Theatre at Lincoln Center in New York City on Wednesday evening (February 16).

Looking absolutely adorable, the "Sucker Punch" sweetheart was in quite the cheerful mood as she grabbed a front row seat at the Anna Sui Fall 2011 fashion show while sandwiched in between Black Eyed Peas singer Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson and director Sofia Coppola.

The Anna Sui and Marchesa catwalk visit comes after Miss Hudgens dropped by Milk Studios while also taking in the Yigal Azrouel show to begin the day and joining Kanye West and Keri Hilson for Jeremy Scott's presentation a bit later in the afternoon.

The time at NY Fashion Week comes as Vanessa is getting into promotional mode for her upcoming movie "Sucker Punch," which is set to hit theaters on March 25th.
