The Red Bull fan page is easily one of the best on Facebook because it understands its audience and provides fun content that encourages fans to interact with the brand. They don't take themselves too seriously, comedically categorizing their page under business type “pharmaceuticals”. Their uniqueness is captured in their innovative incorporation of Twitter into their Facebook fan page; Red Bull has aggregated tweets from sponsored athletes like Ryan Sheckler and Shaun White and included them directly in their Facebook presence. Clearly, this is a company that understands their audience and knows that the best way to connect with them on Facebook is with humor, fun, apps that get people engaged, and by being creative.
Red Bull TV
Features a TON of video content, from action sports and motor sports to music and lifestyle, packaged as a 24/7 free web TV stream. What's interesting is that Red Bull TV disables the ability to watch a certain video, instead, the videos are played on a loop like a TV station. In doing this, Red Bull TV is a destination, not a video resource, and is able to attract long-term visitors.
Drunkish Dials
People like to call the toll free Red Bull number and leave drunk messages. Red Bull had the fans vote on their favorite “drunk dials” and compiled the winners for fans to listen to. This is probably one of the most clever Facebook Apps I've seen.
Procrastination Station
Features six different mini-games featuring Red Bull products and athletes. Again, earning the respect of their demographic with it's creative name.
Twitter stream of Red Bull Athlete updates
Has the option to filter twitter updates by category: Adventure, Aerial, Ball and Stick, Gaming, Motor, Skate, Water, Winter.
