Benar-suatu musibah ketika ada yang melobi aku untuk menjadi rival calon ketua bem. Ya sudahlah, akan kujalani. Insyaallah, semua yang terjadi karena Allah adalah yang terbaik bagiku. Biarpun hasilnya kalah, aku ihklas. Sebab aku sejujurnya tidak berambisi us untuk jadi ketua bem.

Langkah-Langkah membuat grafik plot:
1. Pilih STat -> Time Series -> Time Series Plot
2. Series Diisi dengan Trade
3. OK
Lakukan langkah tersebut untuk series Food dan Metals
Sehingga diperoleh 3 grafik plot

Jika kita lihat, grafik yang menunjukkan terjadinya TREND adalah grafik dari Metals. Kalau pada trade terjadi musiman sehingga tidak bisa dianalisis dengan trend.

Kemudian data FOOD kita lakukan analisis trend, langkah-langkahnya:
1. Pilih Stat > Time Series > Trend Analysis
2. Pada kolom Variable masukkan Metals
3. Pada kolom Model Type, pilih Linier
4. Klik Generate Forecasts dan masukkan angka 12 pada Number of Forecast
5. Klik Storage
6. Pilih Fits (Trend Line), Residuals (detrended data), and Forecasts.
7. OK
Lakukan langkah tersebut untuk tupe Model Quadratic, Exponential Growth, dan S-Curve
Sehingga diperoleh 4 grafik dengan pendekatan model yang berbeda:

Untuk menentukan model terbaik kita melihat dari nilai MAPE:
Linier: 3,23143
Quadratic: 2,01120
Exponential: 3,15026
SCurve: 3,02577
Bisa terlihat bahwa nilai MAPE Quadratic terkecil, sehingga diambil kesimpulan bahwa model terbaik untuk Analisis Trend dari Food adalah Model Quadratic

Please, Say No to Marah-Marah and Bentak-Bentak!

Jadi inget sebuah hadis, "Orang yang kuat bukanlah orang yang hebat dalam bertengkar, sesungguhnya orang yang kuat adalah orang yang bisa menahan emosi ketika harus marah". Kata bijak itu dulu ketika jaman PMB (a.k.a ospek) juga pernah kulontarkan ke teman-temanku seangkatan. Aku masih ingat itu. Sebab itu dulu kugunakan sebagai penyejuk ketika teman-teman angkatanku mulai emosi terhadap senior. Dan alhamdulillah bisa terkontrol. Tapi itu dulu. Dulu yang sudah lama sekali terjadi. 2 tahun yang lalu coy. DUh malah jadi ingat masa-masa itu.

Ohya, ini bukan tulisan untuk seseorang ataupun sebuah kelompok ini merupakan tulisan untuk semua orang. Bukan maksud menggurui. Aku tahu bahwa kawan-kawan semua sudah gede. Mungkin hanya untuk mengingatkan atau saling bernasehat saja. Karena bisa jadi kawan-kawan masih masih seperti itu (marah-marah dan bentak-bentak). Maka diini kuingatkan, tolong, katakan tidak untuk marah-marah dan bentak bentak!

Ketika lihat orang marah-marah dan bentak-bentak aku jadi ingat waktu sekolah dulu. Sesuatu yang alhamdulillah sekarang bisa dewasa merenunginya (amin). Kalau mengenai marah-marah tidak usah kemana-mana, sebab di rumahku sendiri sudah ada pengalaman kena marah-marah itu. Hampir setiap hari aku mendapat marah orangtua aku, yaitu ibu tersayangku. Benar banget, bahwa marah itu karena ada kesalahan yang telah kita perbuat. Ibuku marah tentu karena ada kesalahan yang telah kuperbuat. Namun apakah jika seseorang salah harus selalu dengan marah-marah? Insyaallah tidak! Marah jangan sebagai alternatif satu. Sebab kalau bisa dengan secara halus kenapa tidak. Tapi kalau kurang berfek memang perlu sedikit tegas. Namun belum sampai marah-marah sekali. Marah baru terjadi kalau alternatif paling akhir. Alias kesabaran sudah habis. Tapi itupun harus dikontrol emosinya. Gimana ya jelasinnya, intinya sebaiknya marah-marah tidak diupayakan terjadi.

Kemudian pengalaman bentak-bentak, itu bahkan terjadi pada diriku sendiri. Aku sebagai pelaku bentak bentak. Yaitu dulu ketika di SMA, di dalam organisasi, OSIS dan Drum Band. Ketika masa penerimaan siswa baru (MOS). Aku sebagai orang yang cukup punya posisi di kedua organisasi itu. Ketika MOS, kerjaanku adalah melakukan bentak-bentak kepada siswa baru (baca:junior). Lalu, ada yang masih kuingat sampai sekarang, nasehat kecil dari seorang teman, yang mana dulu masuk telinga kananku tapi keluar lagi dari telinga kiriku, eh sekarang nasehat itu malah mengena di aku. Terima kasih Haris, salah satu temanku.

Di sela-sela kegiatan MOS, dia sempat berbisik ke aku "Syil, gak usah marah-marah". Sangat singkat dan lirih suaranya. Karena dia juga berhati-hati bernasehat seperti itu. Karena tidak mau nasehat itu malah menyakiti hatiku. Yah, menasehatinya secara kawan dan sahabat. Si Haris sekarang adalah ketua UKMI (rohis sebuah perguruan tinggi di jogjakarta).

Dulu tujuanku saat MOS marah-marah itu adalah adalah untuk tegas dan melatih mental mereka. Untuk mengenai mental ketika SMA itu aku sudah dapat solusinya. Ada suatu cara dimana tanpa bentak-bentak, mental mereka terlatih. Namun untuk yang adalah tegas, sekarang kuyakini bahwa untuk tegas tidak harus dengan marah-marah atau bentak-bentak. Selama tegas itu bisa didengar, maka tak perlu mengeraskan suara lisan berlebihan (bentak). Intinya TETAP TEGAS TAPI TIDAK BENTAK.

Inilah tulisan yang berisi nasehat dan pengalaman pribadiku. Semoga bisa bermanfaat bagi kawan-kawan semua. Mohon maaf jika tidak ada yang berkenan dengan tulisan ini. Tapi aku mohon tidak perlu ditanggapi, keluarkan aja lewat telinga kiri kalau anda tidak menyukai tulisan ini. Terima kasih atas perhatiannya.

However, Google has shocked the online community last Wednesday, circulating lots of buzz with their new e-commerce website Boutiques.com. As if their own online search engine, Gmail, and Youtube wasn't enough to manage, they have now taken a dip (or more like an Olympic dive) into the pool of the fastest growing categories on the Web - apparel, accessories, and footwear.

Similar to existing online shops like Shopstyle.com, Revolve Clothing and Retail Therapy, which have all been around for some time, Boutiques.com allows consumers to create their own shops with real merchandise to buy. However, what is unique about Boutiques.com is that these shops can be shared, creating a new world of social networking in the e-commerce world. Celebrities, designers, and even bloggers have already set up their own "boutique" so consumers can shop and dress like their favorite style muse or brand, whether it's the fashion house Marchesa, American designer Diane von Furstenberg, actress Sarah Jessica Parker, TV reality star Olivia Palermo, or bloggers Susie Bubble and Rumi Neely. For those who are more trend driven, boutiques can be explored through a refined selection of trends, ranging from Classic, Romantic, Street, and Boho. Using the same lingo as Twitter, you can "follow" these boutiques and keep a list of your favorite shops.

Google has a huge advantage over other mega sites like Amazon and Ebay, which have both been trying to improve their apparel sector for years. It is much more understandable to consumers to go to Google's Boutiques.com for a $1,000 designer dress rather than Amazon and Ebay, which are more about finding you the best deal for your dollars. Boutiques.com is less interested in finding you a money-saving purchase and rather much more interested in giving you a new, exciting shopping experience. With Google's popularity and the more or less blank attachments to Boutiques.com (in comparison to Amazon and Ebay), they have a clean starting ground with millions of eager online consumers.

And to go above and beyond, Boutiques.com also just launched their free iPad app with user-friendly interface, making today's iPad shopping as close to the real deal of browsing clothes on an actual clothing rack.
